How is reading time calculated?

Reading time is based on an average reading speed of 238 words per minute (the average for adult readers according to research). Speaking time uses 150 words per minute.

How are keywords determined?

The tool counts word frequency, excluding common stop words (the, a, is, are, etc.) and words shorter than 3 characters. The top 10 most frequent words are shown.
